Are Real Christmas Trees Better Than Artificial Trees?

This year, are you going to use a fake or a real Christmas tree? If you don’t want to get any more stressed out than you already are, or if you don’t want to spend big bucks on a Christmas tree, then using a fake tree is the way to go! If you think that real trees look better than the artificial ones, you cannot be further from the truth!

As a matter of fact, artificial trees look no less beautiful than the real ones. I have been using artificial Christmas trees for quite some time and if nothing else, they have helped me save big on cash as well as time!

For the time being, forget that you are using an artificial tree and just focus on how much time you would be saving by using it! Unlike a real tree, installing an artificial tree is almost hassle-free! You don’t need to spend more than 10-15 minutes to setup a dazzling, full-blown Christmas tree that would be the envy of your neighbors! In fact I am even going to tell you how to install an artificial tree from scratch, just to show you that it is not as difficult as you think!

Step 1: Arrange the tree branches: When you buy an artificial Christmas tree, you will notice that each of the tree branches comes with its own special color code. Simply take a look at the color code of each and arrange the branches accordingly!

Step2: Plug the branches to the tree: Once you have arranged the branches in order of color codes, it is time to attach them to the tree. You will notice that each of these branches come with a plug: just plug these branches one by one to the tree and you won’t even realize when you have finished setting up the tree! After you plug the branches, you should of course decorate the tree with ornaments, lights, etc.

And here are some bonus tips:

1. Make sure that the place where you would be put up the Christmas tree is big enough to not only accommodate the tree itself, but also leave enough space all around. Make sure that you don’t put the tree too close to any wall, table or ceiling fan! I would suggest that you put up the tree either in your garden or in the ground floor of your house!

2. Cover the base of the tree with tree skirts.

Unplugging an artificial tree is easy as well; in fact easier than plugging it! All you need to do is to take down the tree decorations, and then remove the branches one by one, starting from the top of the tree. Then simply put the branches and tree base in a box, and tuck it away carefully in a safe place so that you could use it again at the next Christmas! Did I tell you it is easy!

By using artificial trees, you will not only save a lot of time but also money, since they are usually cheaper than the real ones. Moreover, unlike real trees, artificial Christmas trees don’t make your rooms dirty!
