If you have got eczema on your hands then you should be careful with soaps. Wash your hands with soap only when necessary and not otherwise. Also, you should immediately dry your hands completely with a towel to make sure that your skin is not irritated.

2. Even with all the caution you exercise, there will be times when you would need to touch things that can irritate your skin and trigger eczema. For example, if your work requires you to have your hands in water for hours, you maybe irritating your skin. To tackle this problem, your best bet is to purchase gloves. You can easily get good gloves at your local store. Make sure you buy both plastic as well as cotton gloves. Always wear the cotton gloves under the plastic gloves. Cotton gloves will help soak up the sweat in your hands. Also, you should take breaks from time to time and remove your gloves in order to dry your sweaty palms.

4. Do you bath with soap? If so, then you should avoid using caustic soaps as all costs as they irritate the skin a lot. You can use a mild soap instead, such as Dove, Basis or Oil of Olay. Use minimal soap on your skin, and make sure the water is lukewarm. I would also suggest that you soak your skin in water for about twenty minutes as this will make your skin wet. After bathing, you should pat dry your body with a towel but do so mildly. Never rub the towel on your skin as that can cause skin inflammation and can trigger eczema. And don’t forget to apply moisturizer on your skin immediately after bathing.
