Do you know how I know when Christmas is coming? Very simple. On the eve of Christmas, I suddenly feel more energetic and enthusiastic than ever, more benevolent and kind than ever, and happier than ever! I am not sure if anyone else has this odd Christmas experience, neither do I understand what it is about Christmas that fills the whole environment with mirth and fragrance!
One thing I do know is that I won’t call any Christmas complete and fulfilling without buying some of my favorite Christmas carols and songs. Want to know what they are? Read on to find out!
Undoubtedly my all time favorite Christmas song remains to be Maria Carey’s famous “All I want for Christmas Is You”. You know, there is something in that song which tells me that the true joy and essence of Christmas lies not with those gifts and cakes we receive but rather in being united with our loved ones!
No matter how many Christmas parties you attend or how much delicious foods you eat, you cannot enjoy Christmas fully without listening to some of the following wonderful songs:
1. “All I Want For Christmas Is You”
2. “Rudolph The Red Nosed Reindeer”
3. “Jingle Bells”
4. “Joy to the World”
5. “The Christmas Song”
6 “A Holly Jolly Christmas”
7. “Chestnuts Roasting On An Open Fire”
Those are my top seven favorite songs and not a single Christmas has passed when I haven’t listened to them. In simple words, they are to me an integral part of the Christmas Eve. This doesn’t however mean that these are the only good songs available to you. There are many other wonderful songs you could listen to in order to enjoy this Christmas season:
1. “Last Christmas”
2. “Peace on Earth /Little Drummer Boy”
3. “The 12 Days of Christmas”
And many many more. I have a good collection of Christmas MP3s in my home. These songs and many more are available on CDs for quite cheap!
