CROCKPOT CHUNKY VEGETABLE CLAM CHOWDER
To make this recipe, you need:
2 10 3/4 oz cans condensed cream of potato soup
2 c. water
1 c. nonfat dry milk powder
1 c. finely chopped onion
1 c. chopped celery
1 teaspoonfuls sugar
1/4 teaspoonfuls salt
2 6 1/2 oz cans minced clams
2 c. peeled potatoes, cut into 1/2″ cubes
1/4 teaspoonfuls pepper
1/3 c. flour
1 c. cold water
4 slices bacon, crisp-cooked, drained, and crumbled
Paprika
First of all, to make this food, you should drain the clams but make sure you preserve the liquid in it. Then freeze the clam by placing it in a refrigerator. In CP combine the preserved clam liquid with potatoes, onion, celery, carrot, sugar, salt, and pepper. Now add two cups of water. Cook it at low temperature for about eight to ten hours. If you are using medium heat, you should cook it for four to five hours instead. Next, you should add flour and nonfat milk powder in it, and stir it. In fact you should continue to stir it well until these two ingredients mix up with the rest of the mixture. Next cover it, and continue to cook it for another ten to fifteen minutes. Then stir it a little, and again continue to cook it for another five minutes. Now, it is ready to be served. You can serve it with crumbled bacon and paprika.
