People ask me all the time how can they get rid of tummy fat. They point me to their pot bellies and wonder what to do about it. If you think I would tell you to wear those ‘fat burning belts’ shown on TV these days, you are dead wrong! For one, these belts don’t work the way they are advertised in infomercials. In this article I will tell you what you should do in order to get rid of tummy fat real fast.
1. The first thing you should do in order to get rid of tummy fat is to do plenty of exercises and workouts. There is nothing like cardiovascular exercises. The great thing about these exercises is that you will not only burn fat real fast, your skin will also become tauter. You will look slimmer and will eventually get rid of tummy fat. Examples of cardiovascular exercises are walking, jogging, swimming, aerobics, and bicycling, as well as high-activity sports like racquetball, tennis and basketball. You should do these exercises at least four to five times a week.
2. While you do these intensive cardiovascular exercises, your body needs even more energy than before. So eat more. Eating more will help your muscles get more energy and metabolism. Don’t think that eating more will cause weight gain. The more food you eat, the more you feed the muscles instead of your fatty tummy. If your muscles are well fed, you will never get tired while exercising.
A big misconception that people seem to have is that fat is located only in specific areas such as tummy, hips, etc. The fact is that fat is like a big organ which is spread throughout your whole body and your aim is to take it out by doing regular exercises. Once you do regular exercises, fat will automatically get out of your tummy.
While doing exercises, don’t concentrate on your whole body. Concentrate on the main fatty areas such as front and back of thighs, buttocks, back, chest, triceps and biceps. Then of course you can work on the smaller muscles such as calves, hips, forearms and shoulders. This is really the most effective way to get rid of tummy fat.
3. People often make the mistake of working on their abs first before doing strength exercises. This is a big mistake. Abs act as a stabilizer for your muscles and keeps your form in check while you do cardio exercises. If you work on abs first, your will make them tired and you will gain nothing from the exercises. For this reason I would suggest that you work on your abs only after completing your workouts. There are several other ways to get rid of tummy fat. For more information, [adrotate banner=”54″]
